Recently I have discovered a site which helps you write, based on artificial intelligence. So, it's very simple, you just click here, write your subject, begin to write and whenever you don't know how to continue, Al takes over for you. I have marked red what the computer has come up with!
Teaching through a pandemic
Almost a year has passed and we have all called to adopt into new technology in order to get through the school year without missing any lessons. From laptops to textbooks, this has been the year of 'teaching in a pandemic'.
It’s no surprise that you have had to prepare for difficult situations, especially with the prevalence of Covid. Not only have schools had to better suit their classrooms and rooms for safety, but they have also taken on a new approach for teaching: one that will allow students to still learn even if they are absent from school.
Online lessons are part of our lives right now despite the difficulties we face every day. We usually know a lot about computers and how they work. Our phones are like devices we find in our desks, but our PCs that sit on the other side of our desks, are often completely unknown to us. The learning curve is there, but so is the opportunity to learn from it.
So, students, parents and teachers had to adopt to new technology, have their lessons at home in front of a screen and teachers had to learn how to operate learning platforms, write and upload their material and make their lessons available to students from a distance.
Has all this worked? YES
Has it been a tremendous effort? YES, and this is why we have time to talk about it.
Is Covid finished? NO, but the worst of it seems to have passed.
What can we conclude from what you are reading? Above all else, that technology and innovation is something positive. Even in times of crisis, we can turn difficulties into opportunities and improve our lives.
