I've been working with videos for quite a while now...
Although you can find lots of material in Youtube and other "teaching" sites, it is a big problem with the German language it is a bit limited.
I've heard about Kubus videos at a seminar, last year I think...
They are a kind if 15-minute documentaries, different people talk about various subjects and you can see the German reality in different fields (young people, music, arts, techology etc)
Goethe Institut provides also the dialogues in PDF form, so, you can develop various kinds of excersises, like General meaning questions, gap fills, matching and of course lots of discussion topics.
