Deutschlehrertagung in Athen

A bit later this year due to the building's renovation, but still with lots to offer.
A big Book exhibition with all German publishers (you can't usually find everybody in exhibitions in Thessaloniki) and lots of interesting lectures.
As I saw in their programme, they have lots of stuff about Internet and how to use it for successful lesson. It was about time that someone "discovered" new technology in teaching other languages as well...
I've been trying to use the internet as a teaching tool for quite some time now, both in English and in German, doing projects with my students, publishing their work or just giving them information.
There are lots of possibilites, not only on-line excersises, but also lots of videos, songs and information that can be used to improve all language skills...

So this is one reason to be excited to be attending this time... And of course I'll be returning carrying loads and loads of new books!!!

PS. As always I'll be posting some of my notes from the lectures over here!!

I meant both German (like Hueber, Langenscheidt, Klett, Cornelsen etc) and Greek publishers with German learning books.

Okay, let's see Langenscheidt and Hueber are publishing books for self study learners. Klett publishes self learner books and courses, but they also have got a lot of school books, which the children have to buy for example English books. Cornelsen has got everything LOL. Well, they have a few self leaner courses, but mostly they have school books and they have books for teachers(didactics), mostly with the label Cornelsen Scriptor. The same is Persen, Auer and Beltz just to name a few more for you. Hope it is a bit helpful.

All these publishers I mentioned have books both for self study as well as for teaching, so I guess I am going to spend lots of money again!!!
