Science fiction day

This could actually be MY favourite day. January 2nd 1920 is the actual birthday of Isaac Asimov, a well-known science fiction writer. Two of his most famous books are "Nightfall" and "Foundation Trilogy". He has written and edited more that 500 books and he was the person who coined the term "robotics" in one of his stories. A lot of books have been inspired by his work.

What to do on that day?

Start a science fiction book or a story.

Watch a science fiction film or series.

If you want to do something special with your students, have them draw an alien and write a story about   his / her life and environment.

Or have them describe an imaginary gadget of the future.

Whatever you do, have fun!
