Translation Day

This is a day to celebrate languages again!!!

What can you do for this special day?

I remember when my son was a child, he used to play with playmobil all the time. In some of the constructions (like Noah's ark)  there was a leaflet with a story in 4-5 languages.  You could read the story in English for example and have the students or your kids translate into your own language. Or even try to read the story in the other languages as well.

I also like the site of Dora the explorer, they have stories in both English and Spanish - you can have your little translation over there as well.

Or you can try this with songs that have versions in a lot of languages.

The children can learn how to use a dictionary (the actual book or online)

And remember. Whatever you do, have fun!
