International Lego Day is held on the very same day that Danish carpenter, Godtfred Kirk Christiansen, first submitted his patent for the original Lego brick in 1958

What to do on Lego day?

Play of course! 

If you are a teacher, you can practise the numbers the colours and adjectives (long, short, big, small) with your students or have them create something and play the guess game:

After the students have made their creations they ask each other: "What have I made? / What is this?"

"Is it a....", "Yes, it is / No, it isn't"
