Top 5 Christmas movies (in my personal opinion)

Are there any movies that you always watch during the holiday season? Not because they are on TV every time, but because you've got to see them?
Here's my list!

No 5.
Miracle on 34th Street (1947)
When a nice old man who claims to be Santa Claus is institutionalized as insane, a young lawyer decides to defend him by arguing in court that he is the real thing

No. 4.
The Bishops wife (1947)
Bishop trying to get a new cathedral built prays for guidance. An angel (Cary Grant) arrives, but his guidance isn't about fundraising

No. 3.
When angels come to town (2004)
Angel Max on another heavenly mission! A wonderful Peter Folk as MAx - loved this more although it is a sequel (A town without Christmas -2001, Finding John Christmas - 2003)

No. 2.
A Christmas Carol (1984)
Starring George E. Scott, a wonderful set showing 19th century London. Dicken's story to the flesh

A Christmas carol (1999)
I prefer this version of the story though! Although it is the same story, Patrick Stewart manages to "keep" the Victorian gentleman's" manners during the entire film!

No. 1.
Scrooged (1988)
And my most favourite movie - Dicken's story again, but in a more modern and definately in a hilarious version! Wonderful Bill Murray as "Scrooge"
