Another school year is coming to an end...

Yes, it is true... we have less than a week to go...
It was a wonderful year... I learned a whole lot - it was nice to be back...
So now that it is almost over... I 'd like to thank all my students and their parents - for putting up with me, my collegues - for their patience and wonderful cooperation and last but not least... my boss! It was a GREAT year with an awful lot of work, but a real school for me.
I really don't know what I am going to do profesionally next year, but I'm never going to forget 2009!!

projects, projects...

Now that the school year is ending, we are working on more and more projects!!
This time it is about family.
Students had to draw their family trees and then describe them in front of the class. This can be done in all languages of course and students can talk about their family members (names, age, jobs, likes, dislikes etc). The important thing is that chlidren produce language !!!

Picture dictation

It is an old recipe, but it still works!!
If you have time, tell the students to write a paragraph describing their room or you can give it to them as homework!
Then in pairs, one student reads and the other one tries to draw..
This can be done in all languages and believe me it is fun!!!
